Marking 50 years of the groundbreaking comedy, Royal Mail presents a special stamp issue celebrating Monty Python's iconic characters and legendary sketches. The collector sheet bears the colourful set of six 1st class stamps from the main issue paired with black and white labels featuring scenes from some iconic sketches set against a theatrical backdrop paying homage to Terry Gilliam's artistic contribution to the title sequences.
The Gold 500 pair of covers each bear three of the stamps and labels from the sheet with a pictorial The Circus, Bath handstamp and the cover images are framed by a 22ct gold-blocked border. Numbered limited edition of 500.
