Royal Mail are celebrating the abundance of species that inhabit the UK's gardens. The stamps feature photographs of a selection of these creatures: 2nd Class - Fox, Blackbird, Common Frog, Blue Tit and Badger; 1st Class - Smooth Newt, Hedgehog, Robin, Buff-tailed Bumblebee and Garden Snail.
The Gold 500 cover image is framed by a 22ct gold-blocked border and the cover bears a Fox Lane, Leicester handstamp. The cover additionally features the 1966 Blue Tit commemorative from the British Birds issue. Numbered limited edition of 500.
