This Royal Mail issue celebrates the British band The Who, who formed 60 years ago. This issue includes the first retail booklet issued with commemorative stamps since the introduction of the barcoded stamps. The book features a graphic background of The Who roundel or 'target' and includes the 4x1st class album stamps of: My Generation, Tommy, Who's Next and Quadrophenia. The books are printed in Gravure and self-adhesive unlike the stamps which are printed in Litho and gummed.
The BSSP set comprises four covers that each bear an appropriate handstamp.
