National Windrush Day, 22nd June, celebrates the mass migration of people from the Caribbean to the UK. Royal Mail are commemorating the 75th anniversary of the arrival of MV Empire Windrush to the UK with a set of eight stamps (2x1st class, 2x£1, 2x £2 and 2x£2.20). The stamps feature original illustrations celebrating the contribution of the Windrush generation to the UK.

The coin cover encapsulates a 1948 two shilling coin, for the year the MV Empire Windrush arrived, and bears an Edinburgh handstamp.
