Royal Mail is marking 100 years since the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb. The Gold 500 cover has all eight stamps from the 2022 issue, cancelled with a Dorchester handstamp, for the date of issue. The cover also features a special 2022 France €1.65 stamp for the centenary together with a 1972 3p Tutankhamun stamp, issued for the 50th anniversary of the discovery of the tomb (as part of the 1972 General Anniversaries set) . The cover image is framed by a 22ct gold-blocked border. Numbered limited edition of 500.
