Royal Mail have issued a special In Memoriam stamp set to commemorate the life of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The four stamps each feature a black and white portrait photograph of HM Queen Elizabeth II taken during her 70 year reign. These are the first stamp images to be approved by HM King Charles III.
The Gold 500 cover image is framed by a 22ct gold-blocked border and is cancelled with a Windsor handstamp, for the date of the issue. The cover also features a black 1st class definitive, with a Windsor handstamp, dated 8th September for the date of HM Queen Elizabeth II's death. Numbered limited edition of 500.
