Royal Mail have issued a special In Memoriam stamp set to commemorate the life of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The four stamps each feature a black and white portrait photograph of HM Queen Elizabeth II taken during her 70 year reign. These are the first stamp images to be approved by HM King Charles III.
The BLCS 5000 cover bears the four stamps from the In Memoriam issue, cancelled with a pictorial Buckingham Palace SW1 handstamp. The cover also features a 1st class lilac definitive from the 2015 Long to Reign Over Us issue, cancelled with a London SW handstamp dated 19th September for HM Queen Elizabeth's funeral.
