The 150th anniversary of the FA Cup is marked with a set of six stamps.
The stamps feature a mix of colour and black and white photographs showing snapshots from throughout the 150 year history of the world's oldest national football championship: Lifting the Cup - 90th FA Cup Final, 8th May 1971 (1st class); Wembley Stadium - 48th FA Cup Final, 28th April 1923 (1st class); A Big Day Out - 87th FA Cup Final, 18th May 1968 (£1.70); Classic Finals - 106th FA Cup Final, 16th May 1987 (£1.70); FA Cup Upsets - FA Cup Fifth Round, 18th February 2017 (£2.55) and Royal Patronage - 62nd FA Cup Final, 1st May 1937 (£2.55).
The Gold 500 cover bears all six stamps from the 2022 set together and one stamp from the 1996 Football Legends issue. The cover features a 22ct gold-blocked design and is completed with a Wembley handstamp. Numbered limited edition of 500.
