The roots of Britain's £4 billion video games industry can be traced back to the early 1980s when the home computer age had its beginnings. The Retail Booklet comprises two stamps from the sheet featuring images from the 1996 and 2013 games editions flanking four 1st class NVI against a selvedge reflectling the context of the stamp images. The booklet stamps are of self-adhesive format printed in Gravure.
The Gold 500 cover illustrates an Egyptian episode with a 22ct gold-blocked design and carries a Lara Croft Way, Derby pictorial handstamp together with a gold 'Video Games' cachet.
