This magnificent issue commemorates the 150th anniversary of the completion of the re-building of the Palace of Westminster London and comprises three 1st class stamps depicting iconic exterior views and three £1.68 stamps depicting the Commons Chamber, the Lords Chamber and the Central Lobby, which links them and a miniature sheet of four. The stamps are issued in two sheets of se-tenant strips of three.
The cover encapsulates a 2017 Ascension Islands Crown depicting HM The Queen and HRH Prince Philip at the 2016 State Opening of Parliament. The cover is completed with a pictorial crossed Rod and Sceptre Westminster, London handstamp. Superb.
