The commemorative Palace of Westminster 150th anniversary miniature sheet comprises two 1st class and two £1.63 stamps depicting four of the extraordinarily ornate palace interiors – the Norman Porch; the Chapel of St Mary Undercroft; St Stephen’s Hall and the Royal Gallery - and a detailed longitudinal section through Central Lobby and both Chambers.
The cover carries a portrait of Augustus Pugin the architect and designer responsible for the highly detailed Gothic-inspired interior design of the rebuilt palace. The cover carries a pictorial Big Ben Westminster, London handstamp.
