The 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War Miniature Sheet focuses on four memorials from around the world which honour servicemen and women who gave their lives in service to their country. The two 1st class stamps depict Yad Vashem – the official Israeli memorial and the Commonwealth War Graves Commission memorial at Runnymede. The two £1.63 stamps depict the Plymouth Naval Memorial and the Rangoon Memorial.
This cover features the Plymouth Naval Memorial which commemorates some 23,000 sailors who died in both world wars and carries a London WC2 handstamp.
