HRH Prince Charles the Prince of Wales celebrated his 70th birthday on 14 November 2018 for which Royal Mail issued a special commemorative miniatrue sheet of six stamps including a brand new, hitherto unseen portrait taken earlier this year with his two sons in full military uniform. The sheet comprises three 1st class and three £1.55 stamps depicting His Royal Highness on formal and informal family occasions.
The BLCS 2500 cover focuses on The Prince as a father with a fine image of him and his two sons before their marriages. The cover is completed by a Royal Mail Tallents House, Edinburgh 70th Birthday handstamp.
