Hampton Court Palace is one of the best-known and grandest of Britain's historic Royal Residences and is the third in a series of Royal Mail issues featuring Royal Palaces following Buckingham Palace (2014) and Windsor Castle (2017).
The Miniature Sheet feature four stamps; two 1st class depicting the Great Hall and the King's Great Bedchamber and two £1.45 depicting the Chapel Royal and the King's Staircase with a 1914 Ordnance Survey map of the area in the selvedge.
The GOLD 500 cover carries a stained glass image of King Henry VIII as depicted in a window in the Great Watching Chamber. The image is framed by an intricate 22ct gold-blocked design. The cover is completed by a gold-printed cachet and pictorial Rampant Lion handstamp. Numbered Limited Edition of 500.
