Royal Mail's first issue of 2018 celebrates the phenomenon of HBO's blockbuster fantasy series. The stamp issue comprises ten stamps featuring some of the stars of the series, many of whom are British including Sean Bean, Diana Rigg, Kit Harington, Sophie Turner, Lena Headey, Maisie Williams, Emilia Clarke and Charles Dance.
A prestige booklet has been issued that contains for panes, two featuring the stamps, one with the miniature sheet and the fourth is the mixed machin pane.
This cover bears a Castle Ward, Strangford handstamp.
