The 150th anniversary of Britain's Trade Union Congress will be celebrated in June this year. A Royal Mail Commemorative Sheet is being issued to mark this anniversary with ten 2010 Business and Consumer Smilers Crown Seal 1st class NVI and labels depicting milestones in the development of the British Trade Union movement together with informative marginal descriptions.
Our pair of Special Gold covers each carries five stamps and labels with an image of two outstanding sculptures located at Congress House in London: 'The Spirit of Brotherhood' by Bernard Meadows and 'Pieta' by Jacob Epstein. The images are framed with an elaborate 22ct gold-blocked design and the Great Russell Street TUC handstamp is for the location of Congress House.
