The penultimate commemorative issue marking the centenary of The Great War comprises six 1st class stamps bearing evocative images exploring six key themes that have run through this commemorative series. The Prestige Booklet of four panes contains all of the stamps from the 1917 issue along with a unique pane of definitive stamps and a pane containing four poppy stamps.
This cover carries an image of Field Marshal Allenby who led the campaign against the Ottoman Empire army in the Middle East and entered Jerusalem on 11 December 1917. The cover bears a National Memorial Aboretum, Alrewas handstamp.
