The penultimate commemorative issue marking the centenary of The Great War comprises six 1st class stamps bearing evocative images exploring six key themes that have run through this commemorative series. The Prestige Booklet of four panes contains all of the stamps from the 1917 issue along with a unique pane of definitive stamps and a pane containing four poppy stamps.
This cover depicts T. E. Lawrence - ‘Lawrence of Arabia’ - who successfully led the Arab Revolt against the Ottoman Army and bears a London SW1 handstamp.
