2016 Post & Go Hibernating Animals BLCS 2500

The final Post & Go issue of 2016 features British hibernating creatures. The stamps feature the Grass Snake and three native mammals which hibernate throughout the winter months - the dormouse, the hedgehog and the Brown Long-eared Bat. The stamp images depict each animal in their hibernating state.

This cover depicts a hedgehog foraging in autumn leaves for enough food to keep it alive until the spring. The cover bears a Tiggywinkles, Aylesbury handstamp.
