To mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day, Royal Mail has released a set of ten 1st class stamps celebrating some of the people whose actions saved lives, changed history and shaped Britain's war effort. The stamps feature photographs of: George Arthur Roberts; Mary Morris; Tommy Macpherson; Violette Szabo; John Harrison; Bhanbhagta Gurung; Thomas Peirson Frank; Mahinder Singh Pujji; William Tutte and Lilian Bader.
The Gold 500 cover image is framed by a 22ct gold-blocked border and the cover bears a London handstamp. Numbered limited edition of 500.
